Accounting Analyst

In a nutshell:

 

The Accounting Analyst will support the company’s month-end close process and assist with day-to-day accounting activities. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to grow within a fast-paced accounting environment.

 

What you will do:

• Assist with the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain balance sheet schedules
• Review financial data for accuracy and completeness
  
• Support variance analysis and assist in preparing financial reports
  
• Prepare analysis and reports for internal and external stakeholders
  
• Help prepare annual tax forms and filings
  
• Support the Controller with ad hoc projects and process improvements
  

What you need to have:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
  
• 1–3 years of accounting experience (internships or entry-level roles considered)
  
• Basic understanding of US GAAP
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  
• Good communication and teamwork skills
  
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow
  
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment

• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
  
• Exposure to both public or private accounting environments
  
• Spanish language skills
  
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and take initiative
  

 

Additional information:

• Position reports to the Controller
• Position will report to Company HQ in Tampa, Florida, but will have the ability to work remotely
