About the Role:
This position focuses primarily on employment litigation, with an emphasis on single-plaintiff matters. Attorneys will work closely with senior lawyers on complex and high-impact cases while developing their own case management skills and client relationships.
Responsibilities:
• Litigating cases involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage & hour claims
• Representing employers in state and federal courts, as well as before administrative agencies (e.g., EEOC, DOL)
• Managing day-to-day case responsibilities, including drafting pleadings, discovery, and motion practice
• Collaborating with partners and senior attorneys on litigation strategy and case development
• Participating in mediations, arbitrations, and other dispute resolution processes
Qualifications:
• JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
• 3–6 years of labor & employment litigation experience
• Admission to the California Bar (required)
• Experience in federal and state court practice and/or administrative proceedings
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters and work both independently and collaboratively
