About the Company: A top AMLaw 100 full-service firm with a nationally recognized Labor & Employment practice is seeking a mid to senior level Employment Litigation Attorney or Counsel to join its California team. About the Role: This position focuses primarily on employment litigation, with an emphasis on single-plaintiff matters. Attorneys will work closely with senior lawyers on complex and high-impact cases while developing their own case management skills and client relationships. Responsibilities: • Litigating cases involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage & hour claims • Representing employers in state and federal courts, as well as before administrative agencies (e.g., EEOC, DOL) • Managing day-to-day case responsibilities, including drafting pleadings, discovery, and motion practice • Collaborating with partners and senior attorneys on litigation strategy and case development • Participating in mediations, arbitrations, and other dispute resolution processes Qualifications: • JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials • 3–6 years of labor & employment litigation experience • Admission to the California Bar (required) • Experience in federal and state court practice and/or administrative proceedings • Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills • Ability to manage multiple matters and work both independently and collaboratively Required Skills: • Excellent written and oral advocacy skills • Strong organization and attention to detail • Ability to take ownership of matters with minimal supervision • Team-oriented mindset and commitment to client service Preferred Skills: • Experience handling single-plaintiff employment matters • Exposure to wage & hour, discrimination, and wrongful termination claims Pay Range and Compensation Package: • Competitive compensation and benefits • Fully remote schedule • Reduced billable hour expectation (approximately 1,800 annually), supporting a more balanced workload • Alternative track structure designed for long-term growth without business development pressure • Strong investment in training, mentorship, and professional development • Hands-on experience working alongside leading practitioners in a nationally recognized group • Diverse client base, including major corporations and emerging companies across industries If you are interested, do not hesitate to apply or reach out directly to learn more!
