Mon- Fri

100% Remote (onsite as business needs dictate)

Position Description
The Applications Analyst ensures the reliability, accuracy, and effective use of the information systems that support UW Medicine Supply Chain operations. As a technical and analytical resource, this role maintains, troubleshoots, and optimizes key applications including Workday, Pyxis, SpaceTrax, GHX, Data Connect, and Epic—systems essential to purchasing, inventory management, patient charging, and enterprise-wide data integrity.

This position serves as the primary systems support specialist for Supply Chain Informatics. It ensures smooth application functionality, assists end users, maintains critical data structures, and supports system development and standardization efforts. The work directly supports clinical, financial, and operational needs across UW Medicine.

Position Highlights


Primary Responsibilities
Data Integrity & Item/Supplier Management

Maintain accurate Workday Item Master and manufacturer data.
Align supplier data between GHX and Workday and resolve discrepancies.
Troubleshoot data issues impacting purchasing, inventory, charge capture, and systems integrations.
Support enterprise data governance and standardization efforts.

Systems Administration & Technical Support

Provide technical support for Workday Supply Chain, GHX, Pyxis, Epic, and related platforms.
Manage secure system access in alignment with governance standards.
Troubleshoot system, workflow, and integration issues across UW Medicine.
Support system testing, upgrades, and implementation activities.

Procedural Area Inventory & Epic Charge Capture

Maintain and troubleshoot Workday/Epic inventory and charge capture setups for procedural areas (OR, Cath Lab, IR, Endoscopy).
Ensure accurate patient charging by resolving configuration and workflow discrepancies.
Collaborate with clinical and technical teams to maintain accurate, compliant workflows.

Requester Support, Training & Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Provide Workday requester support and ordering workflow troubleshooting.
Maintain ordering templates, locations, and workflow configurations.
Train end users on ordering processes, troubleshooting, and system best practices.
Collaborate on process improvements, standardization efforts, and enterprise initiatives affecting Supply Chain operations.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain or related field

Two years experience to include:

• Minimum year experience in a hospital environment using an enterprise system.

• Demonstrated knowledge of Supply Chain operations.

• Experience with Supply Chain ERP systems.

• Demonstrated communication skills and ability to work with a wide variety of personnel including technical, clinical and administrative staff.

Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.

Compensation, Benefits and Position Details

Pay Range Minimum:

$80,172.00 annual

Pay Range Maximum:

$96,000.00 annual
