<div class="benefits"> <div><strong>Benefits:</strong></div> <ul> <li>401(k)</li> <li>401(k) matching</li> <li>Competitive salary</li> <li>Flexible schedule</li> <li>Training & development</li> <li>Wellness resources</li> </ul> </div> <div class="trix-content"> <div> <strong>Job Summary<br></strong><br> </div><div>Caring for Kids’ Clinical Case Managers provide case management, parent coaching, and behavioral health services to foster, foster-to-adopt, and public-adoption placements, including face-to-face and phone contacts.  This part-time, hourly position will be for up to 20 hours per week as needed. <br><br><strong>Primary Responsibilities<br></strong><br> </div><div>·         Work in conjunction with a multidisciplinary team. Advocate on behalf of clients, including assessing needs and linking to services using contacts with community agencies, monitoring access to those services, and maintaining confidentiality.</div><div>·         Coordinate services for clients in accordance with service description, contract requirements of the custodial county, and accreditation standards.</div><div>·         Face-to-face contact with clients, including required home visits with clients to assure child safety.</div><div>·         Assist foster families in the adjustment of a new foster child placement in their home and with ongoing support services throughout placement.</div><div>·         Provide consultation and collaboration with foster and adoptive parents on identifying problem areas, developing plans for addressing those problems in order to minimize the risk of placement disruption.</div><div>·         Participation in team decision-making meetings regarding the child’s development, progress, and permanency planning.</div><div>·         Utilize and educate connected parenting approaches with families. Provide ongoing training in order to continue to develop the skill level of foster and adoptive parents.</div><div>·         Completion of Diagnostic Assessments, Individualized Service/Treatment Plans and corresponding documentation as applicable and appropriate.</div><div>·         Provide TBS and CPST services to clients identified as needing behavioral health services.</div><div>·         Provide on call support and crisis intervention to foster families as required.</div><div>·         Complete reports and documentation within the time frames specified according to foster care contract requirements and the agency’s accreditation standards.</div><div>·         Report to supervisor and county any incidents that jeopardize the health and safety of children.</div><div>·         Attend individual and group supervision as scheduled.</div><div>·         Follow guidelines of social work or counselor code of ethics.</div><div>·         Follow all policies and procedures established by Caring for Kids, Inc. </div><div>·         Perform other case management duties that support the mission of the agency and stability of placements for youth. <br><br><strong>Qualifications:<br></strong><br> </div><div>·         Master’s degree in social work or counseling preferred. (Will consider bachelor’s degree in social work with related experience)</div><div>·         Licensed by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board.</div><div>·         Valid Driver’s license, minimum required auto insurance coverage, and a clean driving record as well as a reliable vehicle with valid registration is required.</div><div>·         Ohio Adoption Assessor (can obtain upon hire, if needed)</div><div><br></div><div> <strong>Required Knowledge and Skills:<br></strong><br> </div><div>•         Flexible and adaptable. </div><div>•         Capable of effective crisis management.</div><div>•         Capacity to collaborate.</div><div>•         Effective verbal and written communication skills.</div><div>•         Efficient time management.</div><div>•         Knowledge of community services and resources.</div><div>•         Competence in working with clients of various demographic, socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds with sensitivity and understanding.</div><div>•         Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently.</div><div>•         Committed to high-quality services for children and their families.</div><div>•         Proficient with Microsoft Office products and web-based applications.</div> </div> <p>This is a remote position.</p>
