We are currently seeking a talented and driven Customer Business Outcome Specialist to join our US Enterprise team and help shape the future of client success in the digital age.
Position Overview
As a Customer Business Outcome Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business strategy and technology implementation. You will work closely with our field sales community, regional leadership, and cross-functional teams to help clients articulate and achieve their business objectives through our comprehensive portfolio of solutions.
This is a strategic, client-facing role that requires a unique blend of business acumen, technical expertise, and relationship-building skills. You will be responsible for executing 3-to-5-year Business Case strategies for Digital Transformation, conducting comprehensive Solution Assessments, and modeling scenarios that demonstrate the financial impact of our clients' technology investments.
Key Responsibilities
Client Business Results Development
- Define and implement an Account Team Unit (ATU) Field Commitment model for Client Business Outcomes that begins with understanding clients' desired business results
- Execute and deliver Business Outcome Studios that validate clients' business outcomes, identify business and technical capabilities that need to be adopted or developed, and assess current versus desired maturity levels
- Lead Discovery Studios and Solution Assessments directly with clients and account teams to uncover opportunities for value creation
- Create comprehensive transformation roadmaps that guide clients from their current state to desired business outcomes
Strategic Client Engagement
- Manage relationships with the field sales community to identify and validate clients' desired business outcomes
- Assess value propositions and identify capability requirements across client organizations
- Model scenarios demonstrating the financial impact of digital transformation initiatives
- Present findings and recommendations to C-suite executives, board members, and other key stakeholders
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, translating their business needs into actionable technology strategies
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Regional Vice Presidents, Account Team Unit Managers, and Industry Leads to ensure alignment with regional growth strategies
- Collaborate with Account Executives and Account Technology Strategists to develop comprehensive account plans
- Partner with Solution Specialists, Digital Advisors, and Cloud Solution Engineers to ensure technical feasibility of proposed solutions
- Coordinate with ecosystem partners and industry influencers to expand market reach
- Mentor and coach account team members on Business Outcome selling methodologies
Solution Assessment Execution
- Lead end-to-end solution assessments for large-scale and strategic accounts
- Conduct thorough assessments of client technology environments, including existing infrastructure, legacy systems, and licensing entitlements
- Utilize assessment tools and methodologies to identify optimization opportunities
- Validate assessment results and quality with partners and internal teams before client presentations
- Articulate the benefits of assessment findings and recommend next steps for continued partnership
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or a related field
Experience
- 6+ years of experience in solution sales, technical sales, marketing, communications, licensing, or channel/business development
- OR equivalent certifications from arenaflex or competitive platforms with 5+ years of relevant experience
- OR 8+ years of experience in solution sales or solution evaluation consulting
Core Competencies
- Proven track record of success in enterprise sales or consulting roles
- Strong understanding of business value selling methodologies
- Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to engage executive-level stakeholders
- Strategic thinking combined with tactical execution abilities
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional outcomes
Preferred Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in solution sales or solution evaluation consulting
- 3+ years of experience with cross-functional responsibilities, including leading complex projects with multi-team and multi-geography impact
- Cloud platform certifications such as arenaflex Azure Essentials, Modern Workplace Essentials, or Dynamics certifications
- Experience working with enterprise clients in specific industry verticals
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-priority engagements simultaneously
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to model financial scenarios and ROI calculations
Compensation and Benefits
At arenaflex, we recognize that our employees are our greatest asset. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes:
- Base Salary: The standard base salary range for this position across the United States is USD $122,400 - $216,500 annually. For positions in specific work locations within the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range is USD $166,100 - $235,000 annually.
