Dandan Noodle - Lead Cook

HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY 

  • Work collaboratively with front‑of‑house staff to ensure a positive guest experience and consistent food quality.

  • Prepare, cook, and execute recipes accurately across all kitchens.

  • Create new, innovative, and imaginative dishes as needed.

  • React quickly and resolve issues in the absence of the Sous Chef.

  • Provide support, foster teamwork, and conduct business professionally at all times.

  • Regularly inspect all food stations to ensure safety, sanitation, and compliance with standards.

  • Supervise kitchen employees during shifts when the Sous Chef is not present to ensure smooth operations.

  • Assist in covering vacancies within line‑level culinary positions as needed.

Responsibilities

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and twist for extended periods

  • Ability to work with hot equipment, sharp tools, and kitchen chemicals safely

  • Ability to work in a smoking environment

  • Must be able to work in high‑heat areas for extended periods

  • Assist with administrative duties including ordering, receiving, prep lists, and par levels

Qualifications

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Must be 21 years of age or older

  • Proficient in English, verbal and written

  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume kitchen environment

  • Strong culinary knowledge and ability to execute recipes accurately

  • Flexible to work various shifts, outlets, weekends, and holidays

  • Prior culinary experience required; leadership experience preferred
