This isn't just a data entry job—it’s an opportunity to take true ownership of one of the world's largest government contact databases, ensuring mission-critical accuracy for public affairs leaders worldwide.
The Impact You’ll Have
As a member of the Data Collection team, you ensure that the bedrock of Quorum's information services remains flawless. Reporting to the Editorial Manager, you will manage the absolute integrity of government contact records. Through deep-dive internet research, professional multi-channel outreach, and rigorous quality assurance, your work will directly empower thousands of users to map out political landscapes, track legislative activity, and launch grassroots advocacy campaigns effectively.
Your Journey at Quorum
First Week: You'll dive into Quorum's proprietary database systems, learn our data governance standards, and integrate with your global, distributed teammates.
First Month: You’ll take ownership of daily database updates, mastering our multi-channel research methods to verify and audit baseline stakeholder information.
First Six Months: You will lead deep-dive data audits and evaluate complex government reports, proactively monitoring external websites to spot and correct discrepancies before they affect our users.
First Year: You’ll become a core subject matter expert on regional data compliance, collaborating closely with the broader Operations and HRIS teams to refine our data administration pipelines.
About You
Detail-Oriented & Organized: You have an exceptional eye for precision and thoroughness, especially when it comes to data entry, proofreading, and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Research & Analytical Skills: You are a skilled researcher who loves a good internet deep-dive, evaluates government reports with ease, and knows how to extract and synthesize critical insights.
Communication & Outreach: You are fluent in business English (both written and spoken) and feel entirely comfortable engaging in professional telephone and email outreach to collect or verify data points.
Tech-Forward: You have proven proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and thrive in a remote-first, international business setup.
The Civic Mindset (Preferred): You have a degree or a genuine interest in Political Science, Civics, Museology, Biblioteconomie, or Library Science, and are genuinely excited about data collection within a political context.
About the Data Collection Team
The Data Collection Team oversees the maintenance of one of the world’s largest government contacts databases. The coverage includes the US Federal Government, US State Governments, US County Governments and US Municipal Governments. The coverage also includes US federal and state candidates. Additional databases cover government contacts from nearly 40 countries and the European Union.
Our Work Environment:
The Data team members work in the Belo Horizonte office, in hybrid, and fully remote arrangements.
Our team loves to spend time doing fun things outside of the office, which we call Quorum Fun events. Past Quorum Fun events have included apple picking, yoga, and wine tasting
