Position Overview
As a Bookkeeping Software Customer Support Specialist at arenaflex, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking assistance with accounting software processes, ledger entries, navigation, and troubleshooting needs. This role requires a unique blend of technical proficiency, accounting expertise, and exceptional communication skills. You'll be providing support via phone in either a virtual or traditional call center environment, ensuring that every customer interaction leaves a positive, lasting impression.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Support Excellence: Assist customers with comprehensive questions related to accounting software processes, including but not limited to ledger entry, chart of accounts management, financial report generation, bank reconciliation, and software navigation across various modules.
- Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution: Diagnose and resolve customer issues with confidence and efficiency. Take full ownership of each customer interaction from initial contact through resolution, ensuring complete satisfaction.
- Exceptional Customer Service: Deliver high-quality, professional customer support over the phone while maintaining a friendly, approachable tone. Build rapport with customers by demonstrating empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help.
- Product Expertise: Stay current with accounting software features, updates, and best practices. Apply your deep understanding of bookkeeping principles—including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), journal entries, and reconciliation processes—to provide accurate, actionable guidance.
- Documentation & Follow-Up: Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, issues, and resolutions. Ensure proper documentation supports continuous improvement of support processes.

Essential Qualifications
Technical Proficiency
- Demonstrated proficiency in QuickBooks Online or comparable accounting software (Xero, FreshBooks, Sage, etc.)
- Strong command of Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating systems

Accounting & Bookkeeping Expertise
