About Darkroom

Darkroom is the leading next-generation growth marketing firm engineering the brands of tomorrow. Founded in 2017, we set out to redefine what a modern agency could be, by replacing the inertia of legacy advertising behemoths with a model built for speed, intelligence, and measurable impact.

At our core, Darkroom is a human services company powered by Shadow, a universal AI commerce layer that integrates executive-level strategy with proprietary agentic technology. This fusion enables our teams to deliver outsized returns by enhancing creative output, operational efficiency, and revenue generation across every stage of the customer journey.

Our track record speaks for itself: billions in attributable revenue driven across e-commerce marketplaces, media networks, DTC ecosystems, and social commerce platforms. Every engagement feeds into our proprietary data infrastructure, enabling a continuous feedback loop that accelerates growth, improves margins, and compounds results across our client portfolio.

What began as a boutique design studio has evolved into one of the fastest-growing private companies in America (Inc. 5000) and among the most effective performance media agencies of the 2020s (Varos). Our founders were recognized by Forbes 30 Under 30 for advancing the intersection of technology, marketing, and advertising, cementing Darkroom’s role as a defining player in the future of media innovation.

About the Role

We're looking for a visionary creative leader with deep experience building platform-native content strategies for organic social, primarily Instagram and TikTok, with fluency across other channels. You're able to dive deep into the feed and give tactical feedback on statics, hooks, pacing, captions, and edit structure, but understand how to thread the needle between brand world-building, content systems, and organic distribution. You're likely a Social or Creative Strategist by trade with a background in Content Creation, Video Editing, or Community-Led Growth. You are hyper-focused on earned attention and building owned channels that compound into audience, affinity, and revenue.

You'll work on our Organic Social and/or Performance Creative service, our AI-powered creative engagement for brands that want to work with us on the following:

This role is for individuals who want to be at the forefront of social-first creative, AI in marketing, and join a team that is building the best creative content culture in the business. You will work directly on our Creative Team to output content. You will also work with our Social Commerce team to brief creator and UGC content, and our Paid Media team to identify organic winners worth scaling into paid. Generally, your work will be the front door to each brand we represent.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of creativity, AI, and platform fluency, combining bold visual storytelling with data-informed content decisions. You'll report to the Director of Creative and lead Designers and Editors to execute organic assets across formats, including statics, GIFs, short-form video, carousels, motion graphics, Stories, and creator content. Your work will directly impact client growth by delivering a high volume of native content, elevated creative direction, and data-backed content frameworks.

This is a fully remote role operating in the EST Time Zone and all business is conducted 100% in English.
