Position Overview
Are you a seasoned healthcare data professional with a passion for transforming raw information into actionable insights? This pivotal role works cross-functionally with our US Medical Services Group to identify and evaluate data monetization opportunities while developing comprehensive strategies that align with senior leadership objectives. You will manage the operational aspects of our US Healthcare Strategy group, ensuring that both short-term and long-term goals are met with measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Data Partnership: Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and teams both externally and internally across arenaflex, including but not limited to Pharmacy, Retail, and Field Operations teams to enhance current data monetization products, develop growth objectives, refine processes, and support various enterprise initiatives.
- Process Optimization: Establish continuous improvement of data management and administration processes across the enterprise, working collaboratively with multiple lines of business to strengthen data monetization offerings and ensure seamless integration across all departments.
- Retail Strategy Support: Provide the Retail Strategy group with contract organization processes and comprehensive analysis to ensure execution and management of business terms, including core analysis related to drug manufacturer service agreements.
- Client Relationship Management: Support business relationships with existing and new data product/service clients by serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and collaborating with various internal teams including Information Technology to deliver exceptional service and innovative solutions.
- Compliance & Audit Support: Participate in and contribute to regulatory or contractual audits with data analysis expertise as a Subject Matter Expert, ensuring all data practices meet industry standards and legal requirements.
- Contract Development: Participate in RFP responses and Statements of Work (SOW) for new contracts as a Subject Matter Expert, helping to secure new business opportunities through compelling proposals and detailed technical documentation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work in a networked environment to provide shared accountability for manufacturer relationships with Purchasing, Public Record Management, and Specialty Pharmacy across Pharma, Payer, and Health System partners on data monetization and related contractual requirements.
- Business Development: Manage channel segment business and profitability effectively while identifying new revenue streams through innovative data solutions and strategic partnerships.
- Stakeholder Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships while communicating arenaflex needs regarding pharmaceuticals, trade, specialty, program/product development, account management, and clinical services to all relevant stakeholders.
- Leadership & Vision: Lead a cross-functional influential position across arenaflex to create awareness and synergies, including but not limited to Pharmacy Services, Store Operations, and Specialty divisions.
- New Business Support: Support new business development by providing project plans and process details to create proposals for new services as well as reporting/analytical capabilities that showcase arenaflex's technological excellence.
- Project Management: Negotiate and control activities, plans, and programs within area of responsibility, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes that exceed expectations.
- Data Governance: Advise on various data monetization projects and initiatives (current or future) to ensure that any data-related changes and conditions are identified, communicated, documented, and managed to ensure adherence with organizational requirements and Enterprise Data Management established standards.
- Team Development: Coach, guide, and develop employees through mentorship, training, and performance management programs to build employee confidence, motivation, and loyalty to arenaflex.
- Product Delivery: Lead delivery and support of current and new Analytics products including but not limited to Advances in collaboration with external vendors to provide data and insights to Pharma, Payer, and Health System partners.
- Technology Partnership: Define and partner closely with IT teams to develop and monitor metrics that impact current organizational data delivery services and analytics products, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Policy Compliance: Work within organization guidelines regarding policies, programs, procedures, budgets, and applicable laws. Ensure the development and execution of supported manufacturer partner services are consistent with overall strategy.
Essential Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degrees in Healthcare Administration, Business Analytics, Data Science, or related fields are strongly preferred.
- Strategic Collaboration Experience: Demonstrated experience collaborating with both internal and external resources to develop strategies that meet departmental and company goals within budget and established timelines. You must possess the ability to navigate complex organizational structures and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proven experience identifying management/operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve issues effectively. You should have a track record of transforming challenges into opportunities for improvement.
- Project Management Expertise: Extensive experience with project management including planning, coordinating, and managing resources to achieve successful completion of specific project goals and objectives. PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Program Administration: Experience in program administration and analysis of manufacturer programs for Specialty Pharmacy services, with a deep understanding of healthcare data flows and regulatory requirements.
- Travel Requirements: Must be willing to travel up to 20% of the time for business purposes, both within state and out of state, to meet with clients, attend conferences, and participate in strategic planning sessions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in healthcare data management or analytics
- Previous experience in a director or senior leadership role within pharmacy, healthcare IT, or pharmaceutical services
- Strong understanding of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, ICD-10)
- Experience with data visualization tools and business intelligence platforms
- Knowledge of specialty pharmacy operations and manufacturer contract management
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth through data monetization strategies
- Experience working with large enterprise systems and data integration platforms
