Early Careers - Actuarial Intern at Aon: Join a 10-week paid summer internship offering actuarial experience in Retirement, Health & Benefits, Risk, or Reinsurance Consulting.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
• Retirement Consulting: Perform pension valuations, financial projections, asset-liability analysis, and design retirement programs.
• Health & Benefits Consulting: Develop welfare benefit strategies, evaluate plan designs, conduct cost analysis, and support retiree medical valuations.
• Risk Consulting: Assess property & casualty risk, perform loss forecasting, actuarial reserving, and support regulatory and financial analyses.
• Reinsurance Actuarial Consulting: Analyze reinsurance transactions, perform pricing and risk modeling, prepare client presentations, and support internal projects.
• Collaborate with clients, brokers, analysts, and internal teams across various projects.
• Engage in data management, analysis, and documentation to support client assignments and operational improvements.
About You
What you'll need:
• Rising college senior graduating between December 2026 and June 2027 with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Passed at least one actuarial exam (preferred).
• Pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Alignment with values of integrity, client commitment, and community dedication.
• Adaptability, quick learning ability, and professional demeanor.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
• Involvement in extracurricular activities.
• Note: Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.
Compensation & Benefits
• Hourly pay range: $25.00 - $39.50, varying by education, experience, skills, and location.
