As an Assembling Specialist, you'll assess product plans and develop the cycles, tools, and systems behind our strong search innovation. When vendors build parts for our foundation, you'll be right there alongside, ensuring producing processes are repeatable and controlled. You'll collaborate with Ware Directors and Configuration Architects to determine Google's framework needs and item particulars. Your work will guarantee the different parts of Google's foundation fit together flawlessly and keep our frameworks humming along smoothly for a consistent client experience.
**Job Responsibilities**
As an Assembling Specialist, you'll lead complex, multidisciplinary projects, designing requirements with internal clients and guiding projects through the entire project lifecycle. You'll use your knowledge of the tools, cycles, and methods used to build and scale high-volume assembling and gathering activities. You'll be an esteemed partner to the new item improvement group through industry knowledge, experience identifying and qualifying advanced manufacturing procedures, and understanding into Plan for Assembling (DFM) feedback.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
* Designing, creating, and managing the execution of flexible manufacturing cycles and frameworks for specific server farm items
* Improving for cost, quality, and adaptability
* Collaborating with Plan, Item Management, and Tasks groups to identify and address potential assembling detours in early advancement stages
* Analyzing and deciphering complex creation information to drive informed assembling methodologies
* Identifying and executing answers for advance execution and proficiency across the inventory network
* Leading the assessment, capability, and key improvement of agreement makers with an emphasis on future capacities and development
* Using Item Information Management (PDM) frameworks to make Bills of Materials (BOM), Endorsed Seller Records (AVL), and oversee Designing Change Notices/Requests (ECN/O)
* Leading the Item Lifecycle Management (PLM) group to adjust figure and BOM structures
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Electrical Designing, Cycle Designing, Assembling Designing, or a related field
* At least 4 years of certification in Electrical Designing, Cycle Designing, Assembling Designing, or identical relevant experience
* 10 years of involvement as an Assembling, Quality, Dependability, or Item Designer
* 6 years of involvement with Item Lifecycle Managers (PLM)
* 5 years of involvement in plan and execution of civil high-voltage applications in server farm development
* Preferred qualifications include:
+ Graduate degree in Science or a connected field
+ Experience directing yields upgrades and process duration decreases for high-volume and high-intricacy parts
+ Experience with LEAN Assembling/5S/8D practices
+ Experience in charging server farms
+ Capacity to impact the item electrical plan and assembling process
+ Capacity to venture out up to 30% of the time
