If you're passionate about community building, conflict resolution, and customer service, we'd love to hear from you. **Job Summary:** We're seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Chat Administrator to join our remote team. As a Chat Administrator, you'll be responsible for moderating our Discord server, enforcing community guidelines, and providing exceptional customer service to our users. This is a part-time, flexible position that offers the opportunity to work from anywhere and make a meaningful impact on our community. **Key Responsibilities:** * Moderate the chat of our official Discord server, ensuring that all interactions are respectful and adhere to our community guidelines. * Delete messages that violate our rules, including but not limited to: + Hate speech or discriminatory language + Spam or self-promotion + Harassment or bullying + Inappropriate content or links * Ban users who repeatedly violate our rules, after a thorough investigation and warning process. * Mute users who have violated our rules, to prevent further disruptions. * Investigate reports made by users about potential rule violations, and take appropriate action. * Manage our team of Chat Moderators, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure they're equipped to handle their roles effectively. * Manage the Discord server when higher levels of management are not present, making decisions that align with our community guidelines and values. **Qualifications:** * Must be 18 years of age or older. * Must have a High School Diploma or GED. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts and provide exceptional customer service. * Strong attention to detail, with the ability to analyze situations and make informed decisions. * Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team. * Familiarity with Discord and its features, or a willingness to learn. * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience in community management, customer service, or a related field. * Knowledge of community guidelines, moderation policies, and conflict resolution techniques. * Familiarity with online safety and security best practices. * Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. **Skills and Competencies:** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. * Familiarity with Discord and its features, or a willingness to learn. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits:** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our team members grow and develop their skills.
