**Primary Duties & Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
* Providing exceptional customer service through heavy phone contact with policyholders, providers, and interested third parties
* Processing policyholder requests from correspondence, phone calls, and emails in a timely and efficient manner
* Reviewing and maintaining new and revised procedures regarding policy information to ensure accuracy and compliance
* Maintaining department standards for number of calls, average handle time, and time management to ensure optimal performance
* Demonstrating excellent communication, both written and oral, and organization skills to effectively resolve customer inquiries and issues
* Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
* Utilizing strong decision-making skills to analyze situations and make logical conclusions
* Working in a fast-paced environment with heavy phone and PC usage, sitting for extended periods of time, and frequently reaching above shoulder level
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A high school diploma or equivalent, with some college preferred
* At least one year of office experience, with telecommunications experience a plus
* Life and Health insurance background and knowledge of insurance operations desired
* Excellent customer service background and good phone skills
* Strong communication, both written and oral, and organization skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
* Excellent alpha and number recognition skills
* Demonstrated mathematical abilities
* Basic PC skills
* Ability to type at least 30WPM
* Reliable and predictable attendance of your assigned shift
* Ability to work Full-Time and/or Part-Time based on the specific position for which you're applying
**Physical Requirements**
As a remote worker, you'll need to meet the following physical requirements:
* Heavy phone and PC usage
* Sitting for extended periods of time
* Frequently reaching above shoulder level
* Ability to work 40-hour workweek

To ensure a safe and productive work environment, you'll need to:
* Reside in the Greater Houston Area
* Have high-speed internet (20mbps upload)
* Have a smartphone for this role
* Provide a home office/room or quiet and designated space to work in as a remote worker
* Have a fire extinguisher in your home
* Have a smartphone and high-speed internet (20mbps upload) before starting work
