**About the Job**
In this exciting role, you'll be at the forefront of cross-functional collaboration, working closely with our Bookkeeping, Financial Analysis, and Business Intelligence teams to drive business growth and improve financial performance. Your days will be filled with assessing data using SQL and Python, conducting in-depth data analysis and reporting, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive business decisions. You'll have the opportunity to develop new skills and expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve financial performance
* Create and implement comprehensive bookkeeping data requirements to support the automation of journal entries, ensuring accuracy, completeness, consistency, and efficiency in financial processes
* Lead functional improvement initiatives to streamline income tasks and reduce the income close cycle
* Review data quality of journal entries prepared through the Income Subledger and develop Information Quality checks for identified use cases through bookkeeping requirements planning, ad-hoc analyses, new product launches, etc.
* Work with the Product and Design teams to continuously improve our daily Income Reconciliation process and oversee reconciliation investigation with the assistance of the analysis team
* Conduct monthly income bookkeeping close responsibilities, including but not limited to: GAAP income analysis, cost of income analysis, debt claims reconciliations, review journal entries, and audit close package expectations
* Perform ad-hoc analyses and projects as assigned
**We're Excited About You Because**
* You have 3+ years of experience in income bookkeeping, data analysis, and business intelligence
* You have a solid understanding of US GAAP, ASC 606 Income Recognition required; knowledge of IFRS an asset
* You have transitional/high-level SQL skills and the ability to work with large volumes of conditional data, Python an asset
* You have strong analytical and critical thinking skills and the ability to adapt to changing work environments
* You have the ability to collaborate with all levels of management and cross-functional teams, both inside and remotely
