Brown and Caldwell (BC) is seeking a dedicated Health and Safety (H&S) Professional to join our West Business Unit (WBU) H&S team. In this role, you will report directly to the WBU Director of Health and Safety and collaborate closely with both the Director and other team members. Your primary responsibilities will include delivering outstanding internal client support and effectively managing subcontractor relationships. The ideal candidate is an articulate communicator—both verbally and in writing—who is highly organized, proactive, and able to thrive within a diverse team while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. This position requires a proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. The successful candidate will be instrumental in fostering a positive safety culture and drive ongoing improvements in EHS performance across the business unit.

Remote work within the United States is allowed; Central/Mountain/Pacific time zones preferred. 

Detailed Description:

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Director of Health and Safety in managing and enhancing the environmental, health, and safety (EHS) program for the West Business Unit (WBU). This includes overseeing the safety performance of subcontractor partners and ensuring all activities comply with BCs H&S standards as well as applicable regulatory requirements.

Salary Range: The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on the employee’s primary work location and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education.  These ranges may be modified in the future.  

Location A: $80,000 - $109,000

Location B: $88,000 - $120,000

Location C: $96,000 - $131,000
