Role Description
The Senior Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for designing and delivering scalable, business-ready analytics solutions that enable operational leaders to make informed decisions. This role serves as a senior technical and consultative partner to stakeholders by translating business strategy, workflows, and performance questions into data models, semantic structures, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
• Design, develop and maintain advanced business intelligence solutions in Tableau and Power BI for operational, clinical and executive stakeholders.
• Build scalable dashboards, scorecards, semantic reporting layers, and interactive analytics products that support decision-making across the organization.
• Lead the end-to-end BI development lifecycle, including discovery, requirements definition, prototyping, testing, deployment and optimization.
• Create reporting solutions that are durable, intuitive, high-performing, and aligned to business definitions and operational workflows.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, Health Informatics or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics development, data visualization development or related experience.
• Advanced hands-on experience with Tableau and Power BI.
• Demonstrated experience with data modeling, including development of scalable reporting structures, business logic, and semantic layers.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working in relational data environments.
• Demonstrated ability to gather business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and independently execute delivery.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present effectively to business stakeholders.
Requirements
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, and/or dbt.
• Experience designing BI solutions in modern cloud or hybrid data environment.
• Experience supporting healthcare, operations, multi-site service delivery, or other complex business environments.
• Experience creating reporting standards, reusable design patterns, and scalable dashboard frameworks.
