About the Role
The Law Firm of Moumita Rahman, PLLC is a New York-based immigration law firm committed to delivering exceptional legal services to our clients. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an HR & Recruitment Assistant to join our HR team and support every day HR tasks and the full recruitment lifecycle, from posting open roles to ensuring every candidate has a professional, seamless experience.

What You'll Do
Post open positions across job boards, the firm's website, and relevant platforms
Screen incoming resumes and application materials to identify qualified candidates for legal and administrative roles
Coordinate interview scheduling between candidates and hiring managers
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in our applicant tracking and HR systems
Conduct reference checks and support background verification processes
Manage candidate communications throughout the hiring process, ensuring a consistent and professional experience
Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed
What We're Looking For
Prior experience in recruitment, HR support, or a legal/professional services environment is a strong plus
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities without dropping the ball
Clear, professional written and verbal communication, you'll be representing the firm to candidates
Comfortable working with Microsoft Office and HR or ATS platforms (BambooHR experience a plus)
High level of discretion, you'll be handling sensitive candidate and personnel information
Self-starter who takes initiative and follows through without needing to be reminded
