Job Description:
• Assist with grading and course management for Universal Learner Courses (ULC).
• Support faculty with learner assessment in online courses by providing feedback.
• Monitor and grade assignments.
• Help learners navigate challenges within the ULC.
• Participate in several initial 1-hour virtual training sessions and calibration sessions as needed.
• Engage in discussion activities within course Discussion boards.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Learning Enterprise team.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree
• Three (3) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field
• Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
• Significant understanding of course concepts.
• Proficient in English (completed ENG 101, ENG 102, ENG 105 or equivalent).
• Prior teaching experience is a plus.
• Experience working with high-school students.
• Experience as a tutor and/or with student success.
• Experience with Canvas or comparable Learning Management System.
• Ability to work proactively with limited oversight.
• Ability to excel in changing or challenging circumstances.
