Applications are currently being accepted for interns to support the Leadership Development Institute (LDI) family of programs from May 2026 through August 2026. This is a paid internship, and interns will commit to up to 20 hours a week.
The LDI provides internships to fellows who have an interest in or are pursuing careers in behavioral health, and for professionals looking to enhance their skills through mentoring and training. The LDI consists of programs that promote psychological science to bolster and enhance the behavioral health workforce.
We have interns who help with our programs by providing logistical and administrative support. This is not a clinical or research-focused internship. Requirements:

Job Location - Remote: APA internships may be considered for remote work eligibility as defined in APA’s Flexible Work Policy and are subject to approval.
