The Role: Senior Data Analyst

What You'll Do
As a Senior Data Analyst at arenaflex, your contributions will be instrumental in shaping the future of our data products and driving business success. Here's what you can expect in this role:
- Business Requirements Analysis: You'll work to deeply understand business data requirements and analyze existing business systems and processes. Your expertise will help identify the most appropriate and reliable data sources that serve specific business purposes, ensuring data accuracy and relevance across all analytical initiatives.
- Statistical Analysis & Methodology: You'll support the identification and application of statistical methods tailored to specific business requirements. This includes aiding in the planning, design, and execution of exploratory data analysis research projects that uncover hidden patterns, trends, and opportunities within our vast datasets.
- Project Translation & Execution: You'll translate complex business requirements into clearly defined projects, activities, and tasks. You'll develop specific deliverables and identify appropriate methods and tools to provide effective solutions to business challenges. Your work will involve close collaboration with Data Scientists to ensure analytical rigor and practical applicability.
- Data Visualization & Reporting: You'll generate compelling graphical representations of data and model results that tell stories at a glance. Understanding client requirements deeply, you'll design appropriate data visualizations for various datasets that make complex information accessible and actionable for stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: You'll work hand-in-hand with Product teams, Data Scientists, Engineers, and Business stakeholders to ensure that data-driven insights are embedded in every decision-making process. Your ability to bridge the gap between technical analysis and business strategy will be crucial to your success.
What You'll Bring

- Database & Technology Expertise: You bring comprehensive knowledge of database technologies and distributed datastores, including both SQL and NoSQL systems. Additionally, you have experience with Big Data and Cloud technologies, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery (BQ).
- Visualization Proficiency: You have hands-on experience with visualization tools and understand best practices for presenting data effectively. This includes expertise with platforms like Looker, PowerBI, or similar business intelligence tools that bring data to life.
- Educational Background: You hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related discipline.
