What You'll Do
As a key member of our data operations team, you will be responsible for supporting the conveyance of information, creating data displays, plans, and contracts. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to deliver information products that are discoverable, easy to comprehend, and compliant with strict administration, risk, and compliance regulations.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Information Management: Handle the conveyance of information, including data displays, plans, and contract creation to ensure seamless data operations.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate tasks and partner engagements to enable the delivery of information products that meet our quality standards and compliance requirements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Maintain strong engagement with partners to ensure data strategies are correctly measured and strategically aligned with our overall organizational objectives.
- Data Strategy Support: Work with key colleagues to develop data product strategies that align with financial goals and business objectives.
- Gap Analysis: Analyze and manage gap analyses for the management of financial data structures from various sources into a modernized platform.
- Project Execution: Create and execute timelines, budgets, acceptance criteria, and service level agreements.
- Data Integrity: Ensure all data entries meet quality standards and are properly documented throughout the data lifecycle.
- System Maintenance: Assist in maintaining and updating our data management systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking candidates who bring a combination of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a passion for data management. The ideal candidate will have experience in data product management or data engineering, with a focus on financial products or solutions.
Essential Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience delivering data solutions, including directly leading engineering resources and teams.
- Technical Skills: Strong data modeling design and documentation abilities, following the full delivery lifecycle from business engagement through to logical, legal, and physical data design and project delivery.
- Platform Expertise: Deep technical expertise in data, platforms, and tools including AWS, Snowflake, dbt, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CDK).
- Data Processing: Experience with streaming data processing concepts, including batch and real-time, in-the-moment understanding creation and distribution.
- Collaboration: Strong partnership and association skills with the ability to interact and influence across the organization, including with executives.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience working in the hospitality, travel, or media industry is preferred.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (Master's or higher) in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience supporting specialty units with data, business intelligence, and AI/ML needs.
- Strong understanding of best practices and standards in data and engineering.
- Deep technical expertise in data engineering delivery practices, with the ability to address skills and processes at various organizational levels.
