For more than 100 years, AdvantAge Ontario has been the voice of not-for-profit seniors’ care in Ontario. We represent more than 500 providers of long-term care, seniors’ housing, supportive housing and community service agencies, including 98 per cent of all municipal long-term care homes and 83 per cent of all not-for-profit long-term care homes.

Field Placement Details
The incumbent will work with Manager, Communications & Member Services and Education Manager to assist with various social media tasks and events activities.

The position is 8 weeks in duration, scheduled for 35 hours per week, with compensation set at $18.60 per hour.
Tasks & Activities:
-Assist with creating graphics for educational events and social media channels
-Coordinate social media posts
- Update and audit Association website
- Assist with careers web postings and broadcast emails
- Conduct regular media scans
- Assist with marketing plans for education events
- Assist with event registrations
- Assist with education evaluation reports
Requirements:
Student Assets and Requirements
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a relevant college or university program (e.g., Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing or Business Administration), or equivalent work experience.
