Role & Responsibilities
As our E-commerce Operator / Marketing Intern, you will wear multiple hats and get a front-row seat to brand building. Specific tasks include:
Shopify Management
Oversee the design, launch, and day-to-day operations of our Shopify store.
Optimize product listings, pricing, and promotions for maximum conversion.
Ensure seamless integrations with third-party apps (inventory, shipping, analytics) within the Shopify ecosystem.
Amazon & Distribution Channels
Manage product listings, optimize search and keyword strategies, and explore new online sales platforms.
Monitor performance metrics and suggest improvements to boost product visibility.
Creative Marketing Campaigns
Brainstorm and execute viral, cost-effective marketing campaigns (e.g., comedic YouTube collaborations, skit-based sponsored content).
Work with the founder to plan and deliver campaigns that capture brand personality and resonate with audiences.
User-Generated Content (UGC) & TikTok Shop
Oversee a team of UGC creators to maintain a consistent posting schedule.
Manage TikTok Shop partnerships and creators, driving sales through engaging, authentic content.
Referral Programs & Growth Initiatives
Develop referral and ambassador programs to encourage organic word-of-mouth growth.
Continuously propose new, out-of-the-box ideas to attract and retain customers.
Social Media Management
Develop and execute content strategies for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, and Reddit.
Schedule posts, run campaigns, and engage with the community to boost brand awareness.
Monitor social metrics, identify growth opportunities, and fine-tune outreach methods.
Digital Marketing & Analytics
Set up, track, and analyze performance metrics (CTR, conversion rates, ROI).
Use data-driven insights to optimize marketing spend and campaigns.
Continuously experiment with new channels and tactics to increase reach.
Collaboration & Teamwork
Work closely with design, content, and product teams to keep branding, messaging, and visuals consistent.
Coordinate influencer collaborations, partnerships, or cross-promotions to build brand credibility.
Market Research & Trends
Keep up with evolving e-commerce best practices.
Track competitor strategies and customer behavior for timely adjustments.
AI Tools & Creative Software
Leverage AI platforms like ChatGPT, Eleven Labs, and other emerging technologies to streamline workflow and content creation.
Learn or expand skills in Capcut, Canva, Replo, Figma, and other relevant editing/design tools.
Qualifications
Current college student (open to high school students with high drive as well) with an interest in marketing, business, or entrepreneurship.
Passion for startups, e-commerce and curiosity about building an online brand from scratch.
Willingness to experiment with new ideas, platforms, and marketing strategies.
Strong organizational skills: ability to juggle multiple tasks and stay on top of deadlines.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the confidence to contribute ideas.
Familiarity with social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube) and eagerness to stay on top of trends.
Team player who takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
