Responsibilities
- Conduct research in power system analysis, focusing on both distribution and transmission
- Collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams, including utility partners, academic institutions, and government agencies
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed paper/journal
Skills
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or any other related degree with 1-3 years of experiences in power system
- Demonstrated expertise in both distribution and transmission system analysis
- Proficiency in Python is a must
- Knowledge of transmission analysis such as power flow, stability, and contingency analysis is preferred
- Knowledge of economic analysis preferred
- Knowledge of distribution power flow analytics, nature of electrical loads is preferred
- Knowledge of smart grid technologies, microgrids, DER management, and control systems is preferred
- Proficiency in AI/ML algorithm development is preferred
- Familiar with power system simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, OpenDSS, PSSE, or GridLAB-D is preferred
