As an Account Executive, you will manage the entire sales cycle, develop a strong pipeline, and drive customer outcomes through effective negotiation and collaboration with various teams.
Responsibilities
- Hunt down and win business, you will own the entire sales cycle from first conversation to signed deal
- Cut through the noise and show prospects why ThreatSpike is the antidote to overpriced, bloated IT tools
- Build a pipeline that’s real, not wishful thinking, through smart prospecting, inbound leads, and creative plays
- Lead discovery calls and demos that actually solve problems, not just tick boxes
- Partner with SDRs, marketing, and operations to move deals fast, no endless handoffs or red tape
- Negotiate like a pro and close deals that make both sides feel like they won
- Smash revenue targets and celebrate every win
- Keep CRM clean and forecasts accurate with no fluff or guess work
- Stay sharp on IT trends and use that knowledge to call out industry BS
- Represent ThreatSpike at events and meetings as the face of a company that refuses to play by the old rules
- Feed real customer insights back to operations, the dev team and marketing, you will shape what comes next
- Get fully up to speed on ThreatSpike’s platform, value proposition, and why we’re different from the rest of the MSP & cybersecurity pack
- Ramp pipeline fast: you will book and run discovery calls, demos, and start building early opportunities
- Build strong relationships with SDRs, marketing, and operations to create a smooth deal flow
- Learn how to spot real customer pain and position ThreatSpike as the solution that cuts through industry noise
- Shadow top reps to learn best practices and start developing your own winning style
- Consistently own and close deals across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise accounts
- Be a trusted advisor to customers; driving expansion and long-term partnerships
- Help refine ThreatSpike’s sales playbook, messaging, and outbound strategy with real-world feedback
- Influence product roadmap by sharing patterns you see in customer needs and objections
- Mentor new AEs, share what works, and help raise the bar for the whole sales team
Skills
- 1–3 years of sales or customer-facing experience
- Ability to sound credible in conversations with CISO, founders, or engineers
