Duties:
• Manage landscape/masonry company (California Creations, LLC). See website: www.calcreations.org
• Work remotely as an independent contractor (form 1099).
• Schedule projects and site inspections.
• Answer phone calls, respond to emails and texts, and address customer inquiries.
• Prepare estimates (residential and commercial landscape maintenance, irrigation, drainage, concrete, masonry) and submit invoices using QuickBooks. Note: We work solely with subcontractors (no employees), so estimates simply involve entering project descriptions (provided by subcontractors) and prices (just add markup to subcontractors’ prices).
• Secure jobs by following up on leads and estimates.
• Provide and collect current Certificates of Insurance.
• Collaborate with our web design/online marketing specialist to improve SEO, website, and social media exposure (request client reviews, update website and social media content, submit posts).
Qualifications:
• Bilingual (English & Spanish)
• Excellent communication (verbal & written) and customer service skills.
• Own a computer (preferably a laptop).
• Proficient in using computer software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional education or certifications in office administration are a plus.
• Experience in office administration and landscaping.
• Must be motivated, organized, reliable, ethical, and scalable.
Experience: 2+ years of office work with landscape/hardscape contracting company.
Pay: $35/hour - Commissions may be paid after ability to independently follow up on leads, submit quality estimates, and secure jobs has been established.
