Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Precursive is a company focused on growth through the combined efforts of their Sales and Marketing teams. They are seeking a Business Development Associate to engage with prospective clients, uncover business needs, and facilitate opportunities for their platform.
Responsibilities
- Contacting prospective clients through a variety of mediums – this could include reaching out on social media, phoning, emailing, or meeting in-person
- Partnering with marketing to nurture healthy leads to a first sales interaction (FSI), researching potential new leads, and keeping on top of developments within a set of key accounts
- Conducting discovery calls with prospects to inform sales staff of potential routes to sales opportunities
- Working with the revenue team to help align prospect's needs with our offerings, and providing tools and resources to aid that goal
- Managing multiple competing priorities, and working effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex, collaborative, and team-oriented environment
- Building & maintaining a network of contacts to aid in hitting your targets
- Administrative tasks – such as updating CRM (customer relationship management) systems, namely Salesforce, Hubspot, and Gong, and keeping internal stakeholders informed
