Nitor Infotech, an Ascendion Company, is seeking a seasoned Business Development Director to drive strategic growth across the North American Independent Software Vendor (ISV) ecosystem. This senior enterprise sales role focuses on acquiring new logos and building executive relationships while driving large-scale engineering transformation engagements with software product companies.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive the end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting → qualification → proposal → negotiation → closure
- Acquire net-new logos within ISVs and SaaS companies (North America focus preferred)
- Build and execute account strategies targeting technology and product stakeholders
- Translate complex technology offerings into clear business value
- Lead discovery and solution conversations with senior technical buyers
- Partner with Pre-Sales and Delivery to craft differentiated proposals
- Maintain strong pipeline discipline, forecasting, and CRM hygiene
- Convert qualified leads from Inside Sales into revenue-generating opportunities
- Build long-term relationships and drive multi-threaded account engagement
Skills
- Must currently reside in the United States
- Must have authorization to work in the United States
- Must possess an established network within the North American ISV/SaaS ecosystem
- Must have successfully sold Product Engineering, Digital Engineering, Data Engineering, AI Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Software Engineering services to software product companies
- Must have experience engaging senior technology and product executives
- Must have a strong understanding of emerging AI trends including Generative AI and Agentic AI
- 10+ years in Business Development / Sales for Product Engineering or Technology Services
- Proven track record of closing deals with ISVs/SaaS companies
- Strong understanding of software product development lifecycle and modern tech stacks
- Expert deal-crafting capabilities
- Experience selling across Cloud, Data, AI/ML, GenAI
- Exposure to agentic AI / next-gen automation paradigms
- Ability to engage and influence senior technical stakeholders
- Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Strong negotiation and commercial acumen
- Comfortable working across North American time zones
