Orion Groups is a professional services firm based in McKinney, Texas that provides experienced consultants to key organizations across the United States. They are seeking a Collibra System Administrator to serve as the technical anchor for the Data Governance platform, ensuring its operational health, stability, and connectivity.
Responsibilities
- Administer and support the Collibra platform, including Collibra Protect
- Troubleshoot workflow, user access, and job execution issues
- Build and maintain JDBC connections for Data Catalog integrations
- Support Collibra Edge configurations and metadata ingestion
- Coordinate with vendor support and internal DevOps teams
- Manage platform upgrades, patches, and technical implementations
- Maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Enterprise System Administration, Application Support, or Technical Operations
- 3+ years of experience as a Collibra System Administrator
- Hands-on experience with Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud (DGC, Catalog, Protect)
- Strong troubleshooting experience across application, database, and network layers
- Experience configuring and maintaining JDBC/ODBC connections
- Experience working directly with software vendors to resolve technical issues
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of SQL, REST APIs, and enterprise integrations preferred
- Healthcare experience and familiarity with HIPAA, PHI, and PII regulations is a plus
