Position Overview

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a vital role in maintaining arenaflex's commitment to excellence in customer support. In this position, you will answer inbound calls from members and providers, process data accurately, and provide a consistently high level of customer service while extending courtesy and professionalism to every individual you interact with.

As a CSR at arenaflex, you will handle inbound customer service inquiries and problems via telephone and email while effectively recording communications accurately and consistently. While most calls are routine in nature, you may occasionally encounter situations that require deviation from standard screens, scripts, and procedures, allowing you to exercise your problem-solving skills and judgment.

You will utilize our computerized system for tracking calls, information gathering, and troubleshooting. Additionally, you may assess caller needs, explain programs and services, and suggest or promote alternative products or solutions when appropriate. Key Responsibilities

As a valued member of the arenaflex customer service team, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Caller Needs Assessment: Identify, evaluate, and prioritize caller needs, questions, and concerns with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Resolution Formulation: Formulate appropriate plans of resolution and respond to inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Customer Satisfaction Maintenance: Maintain and restore customer satisfaction levels, partnering with other teams as needed to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Problem Analysis: Perform problem analysis, determine root causes, and recommend effective resolutions to callers in accordance with standard protocol.
  • Proactive Education: Proactively educate callers on program benefits, services available, and resources they can access.
  • Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed established call center metrics, attendance standards, and quality levels consistently.
  • Documentation: Use computer tools to accurately process and document all interactions, maintaining detailed and consistent records.
  • Relationship Building: Develop rapport with callers and appropriately adjust communication style to meet individual needs.
  • Information Accuracy: Provide accurate information about arenaflex programs and services to all callers.
  • Escalation Management: Escalate issues internally when necessary and follow up on escalated issues to ensure proper resolution.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a customer service related field is strongly preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly and professionally.
  • Multitasking Abilities: Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Technical Proficiency: General working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook required.
  • Keyboard Skills: Computer keyboard proficiency and internet navigation skills are required.
  • Team Collaboration: Have the ability to work effectively with others in a team environment.
