Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Themesoft Inc. is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead engineering efforts on their IDP platform. The role involves driving the end-to-end delivery of platform capabilities and providing technical leadership to engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end delivery of IDP platform capabilities (design → build → deploy → support)
- Lead engineering efforts across Backstage/Harness-based platform architecture
- Provide technical leadership to onshore/offshore (GCC) engineering teams
- Partner with Product Owner, Architects, and KP stakeholders
- Ensure alignment with developer experience and platform strategy
- Enable adoption of self-service, cloud-native developer workflows
- Deliver measurable improvements in developer productivity and platform utilization
Skills
- 10 + Years of experience
- Strong hands-on experience with: Backstage (IDP frameworks)
- Proficiency in React / TypeScript and Python
- Strong knowledge of: Cloud-native architectures
- Strong knowledge of: APIs and microservices
- Strong knowledge of: CI/CD and DevSecOps practices
- Experience leading platform engineering teams
- Ability to translate strategy into execution and measurable outcomes
- Harness (highly preferred)
