Responsibilities
- Fill course instruction needs in the Department of Education and Human Development
- Teach one or more courses on an as-needed basis
- Courses may be offered in spring, summer, and/or fall terms and in one or more modalities ranging from in-person to asynchronous online
- Provide instructional opportunities in doctoral level content, including dissertation writing and support
Skills
- Master's degree in a related field
- Doctoral (or terminal degree) in a related field (required to teach in graduate-level programs)
- Expertise in content aligned with a departmental program area
- A commitment to inclusive teaching, creating an inclusive learning and working environment, and working alongside persons with diverse backgrounds
- Previous higher education teaching experience
- Experience teaching with modality in which course is offered
- Practical experience in an applied field aligned with a departmental program area
