Talener is one of the nation's leading machine manufacturers, and they are looking to hire multiple Field Service Engineers across the US. The role involves installation, maintenance, and repair of CNC machines, along with building customer relationships and providing technical support.
Responsibilities
- 5+ years of experience with machine installation, maintenance, and repair
- Creating and updating documentation of technical information
- Develop ongoing and ad-hoc special reports pertaining to Service
- Build strong customer service relationships with customers
- Advise factory engineers regarding equipment defects, customer satisfaction, product performance, and suggestions for product improvement
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and sequence (PLC) ladder diagrams
- Basic computer literacy and working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to travel 50% of the time to customer sites
- Experience working with FANUC or Siemens NX
