The Human Resources Consultant will take ownership of HR operations, helping to build the structure, processes, and foundations needed to support continued growth in a fully remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day HR operations across the business, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, contracts, and HR documentation
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR processes remain compliant and up to date
- Oversee HR administration and identify opportunities to streamline and improve operational processes
- Provide practical HR guidance and support to managers and employees across a range of people matters
- Maintain and optimise HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
- Partner with leadership to develop scalable HR processes that support business growth
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation and internal policies
Skills
- Candidates must be located in the United States or Canada
- Previous experience as an HR Lead, HR Manager, or Senior HR Generalist within a start-up or scale-up environment is essential
- Strong hands-on experience with Rippling HRIS
- Proven ability to improve and modernise HR operations in a fast-paced business
- Strong understanding of US and/or Canadian employment practices
- Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
- Background in IT Consulting, Technology Services, or Professional Services would be preferred
- Experience using Sequoia for benefits administration
- Experience supporting remote teams and scaling HR processes is highly desirable
