The Key Account Director will engage with enterprise customers to foster long-term relationships, drive revenue, and ensure customer success through strategic sales initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Own the overall account relationship, in order to drive net-new revenue in the account and ensure customer success
- Build consensus and develop relationships at multiple levels: executive sponsors, decision-makers, influencers
- Align Cloudera domain products and service experts to key customer stakeholders, while maintaining account oversight
- Lead large scale sales cycles and transactions
- Meet regularly with the account to generate new Cloudera demand and net-new pipeline
- Forecast the business, lead the internal team, and communicate key updates
- Exceed quarterly and annual goals for new software subscription and cloud consumption
Skills
- Minimum 10+ years of exceeding enterprise software sales targets
- Minimum 5+ years of experience selling to financial services vertical, in particular, with accounts such as American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, Capital One, London Stock Exchange
- AI proficient, understanding of the impact AI will have on businesses
- Data management, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Data Warehousing experience
- Containers, Kubernetes, data infrastructure, public cloud infrastructure technology experience
- Four year degree (Bachelor's) from accredited university required
- Ability to travel
