They are seeking a Licensed Mental Health Clinician to provide proactive outreach and support to Reservists and their families, conducting health screenings and linking them to resources.
Responsibilities
- Conduct behavioral health screenings with Reservists and eligible Family Members to determine current psychological health needs
- Link at Reservists and their Family Members to “good fit services” based on identified needs
- Maintain accurate and timely case notes to document all service encounters
- Prepare outreach materials such as flyers, brochures and newsletters to educate clients on a wide spectrum of psychological health topics and resources
- Provide briefings and consultation to Reservists, Family Members and high-level military leaders
- Attend Meetings as required/requested, including staff meetings, training workshops and community meetings
- Coordinate with regional site lead and team members to ensure all program data required for reporting purposes is provided in a timely manner
- Travel one to two times a month on weekends to various HTCs and NRCs throughout the region
- This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Serco to staff it only with U.S. Citizens
Skills
- Be a U.S. citizenship
- Be able to obtain/maintain/transfer NACI investigation
- Have a Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related behavioral health or a clinical degree and 2 years of professional experience
- Be independently licensed at the highest level in any U.S. State with one (or more) of the following: Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor
- Have the ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team
- Be flexible and able to redirect efforts to incoming tasks taking precedence over current tasks, when needed
- Have the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Have professional oral, written, and telephonic communication skills
- Be able to rely on instructions, pre-established guidelines, prior experience, and good clinical/professional judgment to perform functions on the job
- Be computer literate and have experience conducting internet research, utilizing case management databases, and using Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Have experience with telephonic and email assessment services as with Employee Assistance Programs (EAP)
- Be available for weekend work/travel 1-2 times per month (50% of the time)
- Have knowledge of military culture (not required, but preferred)
