They are seeking a Data Platform Growth Inside Sales Representative for State & Local Government and Education, responsible for new account development and expanding existing accounts within a defined territory. The role involves selling technology software products, managing accounts, and driving sales strategies to achieve revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Primary job duty is to sell technology software products and related services in a defined territory
- Identifies, qualifies and closes new opportunities
- Manages accounts including the entire sales process from business development prospecting and specifications through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support
- Leverages the Oracle sales model to maximize revenue growth and increase local market share
- Builds and expands business partner revenue and self sufficiency
Skills
- Experience in new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic or named account territory, specifically for State & Local Government and Education
- Ability to identify, qualify, and deliver Oracle's end-to-end cloud products and solutions across infrastructure and platform
- Experience in coordinating with other members of the sales team (employees and partners) to support account sales and business development strategies
- Ability to identify and engage the appropriate partner to meet customer specifications
- Ability to become a trusted advisor to key customer influencers and decision makers
- Experience in driving company strategy into assigned accounts
- Familiarity with all companies' methodologies and processes related to sales opportunity pursuit
- Ability to ensure that the company's sales programs are known and completed in assigned territory, including personal follow-up and engagement in selected opportunities
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding quarterly and annual sales goals for software and infrastructure solutions
- Experience in selling technology software products and related services in a defined territory
- Ability to identify, qualify and close new opportunities
- Experience in managing accounts including the entire sales process from business development prospecting and specifications through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support
