The NA Data Platform Growth Inside Sales Representative is responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established territory, specifically for State & Local Government and Education.
Responsibilities
- Primary job duty is to sell technology software products and related services in a defined territory
- Identifies, qualifies and closes new opportunities
- Manages accounts including the entire sales process from business development prospecting and specifications through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support
- Leverages the Oracle sales model to maximize revenue growth and increase local market share
- Builds and expands business partner revenue and self sufficiency
Skills
- 3 to 5+ years of experience in sales
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Experience in new account development and/or expanding existing accounts
- Experience in selling technology software products and related services
- Ability to identify, qualify, and close new opportunities
- Experience managing accounts including the entire sales process from business development prospecting and specifications through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support
- Ability to coordinate with other members of the sales team to support account sales and business development strategies
- Ability to engage the appropriate partner to meet customer specifications
- Ability to become a trusted advisor to key customer influencers and decision makers
- Ability to follow all companies' methodologies and processes related to sales opportunity pursuit
- Ability to achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales goals for software and infrastructure solutions

- Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment.
