As a Noregon Sales Professional, you will be responsible for prospecting and cold-calling sales leads in your territory, delivering sales pitches, providing demonstrations, and closing deals.
Responsibilities
- Manage your territory by developing new business sales and prospects, keeping an active schedule sufficient to grow revenue
- Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager on territory management and account planning
- Develop and implement an aggressive prospecting plan to uncover sales opportunities
- Generate leads through self-conducted research and networking, actively making multiple cold calls and setting appointments looking for new business opportunities
- Conduct 4+ demos per week showcasing how our technology will improve their business and reduce repair times
- Train customers to ensure renewal of software
- Utilize ERP to record, maintain & report customer information
Skills
- Minimum of three (3) years outside sales experience
- Cold calling and prospecting: good business acumen including sales quota achievement and closing sales
- Outstanding relationship-building skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to understand and overcome customer's buying objections
- Strong time-management, organizational and prioritization abilities
- Ability to adopt to quick business changes
- Excellent follow up skills and a sense of urgency when dealing with customers
- General proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
- Requires a valid driver's license and reliable insured vehicle
- Consent to undergo background check
- Associate degree in Automotive Technology or related field preferred but not required
- Experience in the diagnostic tool industry a plus
