They are seeking a PeopleSoft Finance Functional Sr. Consultant to address user issues, resolve system-related problems, and implement configuration changes while collaborating closely with stakeholders.
Responsibilities

Skills
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
- Location for this position is anywhere in the US. This position may require travel to client/project location
- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience

- Demonstrated experience in AP Banking, PeopleSoft Finance, Time and Labor functional experience
- Experience in Accounts Payable
- Experience in General Ledger
- Experience in Banking / Cash Management
- Experience in Purchasing / Procurement integration
- Ability to analyze accounting entries, journal generation, chart fields, distribution lines, combo edits, budget checking, and finance integration issues
- Experience supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
- Ability to assist with financial reconciliations, reporting, audit support, and data validation
- Experience in issue resolution, root cause identification and analysis
- Must be able to recommend solutions to complex issues
- Good working knowledge of People tools, SQL and other tools
- Experience in gathering business requirements, proposing process improvements, stakeholder management, preparing Functional design and documentation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Experience with Ticketing systems like ServiceNow
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and support processes
- Experience in Commitment Control, if applicable
- Experience in Billing / Receivables, if applicable
- Experience in Project Costing, if applicable
- Strong knowledge of business processes across finance domains
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience and desire to work closely with customers
- Participate in the on-call rotation to support production systems, including monitoring jobs, interfaces, and integrations, and ensuring timely response to incidents and outages
- Experience in collaborative, cross-functional team environments
