Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Collins Aerospace is seeking a Procurement Analyst to support their procurement processes and operational strategies. This entry-level position will assist with procurement activities including preparing RFPs, supporting negotiations, and ensuring timely execution of purchasing activities.
Responsibilities
- Support procurement processes, standards, and operational plans, including RFP preparation, negotiation support, and cost analysis
- Respond to inquiries regarding purchase orders, order status, changes, and cancellations to ensure customer satisfaction
- Purchase goods, materials, supplies, and services while ensuring procurement activities align with company policies and business objectives
- Prepare and process purchase orders, coordinate approvals, and support supplier negotiations under general guidance
- Contact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and resolve shortages, late shipments, and other supply issues
- Build and maintain supplier relationships while monitoring supplier performance for on-time delivery, quality, and cost
- Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Finance, Quality, and other cross-functional teams to resolve procurement and supply chain issues
- Support delivery assurance activities by proactively identifying and mitigating supply chain risks
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation, records, and reports to support audits and compliance requirements
- Prepare procurement metrics, presentations, and analyses to support leadership decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives
Skills
- Requires a Bachelor's degree and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience
- Prior internship, co-op, or professional experience in procurement, supply chain, purchasing, operations, or a related field
- Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English and Spanish (verbal and written)
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
- Experience with supply chain processes and procurement best practices
- Experience supporting manufacturing, aerospace, or defense environments is a plus
- Ability to communicate and build interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective supplier relationships
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and remain calm under pressure
