[Remote] Project Engineer (Water)

As a Project Engineer, you'll work on high-impact water and wastewater projects, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions that support public health and environmental sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead projects related to water, wastewater, and/or water resource management
• Prepare design calculations, cost estimates, technical reports, and engineering plans and specifications with precision and creativity
• Accumulate and analyze data, presenting findings in professional reports, memos, and presentations for internal and client use
• Take initiative and work independently while collaborating effectively with Project Managers and multi-disciplinary teams
• Lead portions of design work and help ensure high-quality, accurate deliverables that meet regulatory and industry standards
• Assist with permitting applications and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Coordinate with team members across multiple offices and disciplines to keep projects on track and aligned

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field
• Previous experience executing technical studies, analyses, and/or designing and creating plans and specifications for water focused projects
• Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license
• Ability to make independent decisions and be accountable for the results
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of a task
