Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Sayva Solutions is partnering with a growing professional services firm to hire a Senior Accountant for their advisory accounting team. This role will support complex client engagements end-to-end, support month-end close and reconciliations, and support process and systems improvements.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and support month-end close schedules to ensure accurate accounting records
- Perform full-cycle accounting activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
- Reconcile bank and credit card activity and support cash and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support crypto-related accounting processes, including crypto subledger tie-outs and portfolio reconciliations as needed
- Assist with outsourced accounting engagements across a portfolio of clients
- Support tax-related workstreams such as reconciliation support, audit support, and coordination with tax teams
- Contribute to system implementations and process improvement initiatives to strengthen workflows and controls
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and client-ready deliverables; help surface trends and issues in financial data
- Coordinate effectively with global and cross-functional stakeholders, including team members in multiple time zones
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (related degrees such as Business, Finance, or Economics may be considered)
- 3 or more years of accounting experience with strong full-cycle accounting fundamentals
- At least 1 year of Crypto and digital asset accounting experience is required (exposure to exchanges, wallets, subledgers, or portfolio reconciliations)
- Experience supporting accounting system implementations and process improvements
- Comfortable leveraging modern tools and technology in accounting workflows (including AI-enabled tools and reporting platforms)
- Strong organization and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment
- Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement support in a client-service environment preferred
- Proficiency with QuickBooks; comfort working across multiple tools and systems such as NetSuite and Sage is a plus
