The Senior BC Consultant is responsible for leading Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations and providing ongoing support to clients, while also advising on best practices and process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Leading Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations, upgrades, and optimizations for a diverse portfolio of clients
- Gathering and analyzing business requirements
- Designing solution architectures
- Configuring Microsoft Business Central modules
- Managing data migration and testing activities
- Supporting users post go-live with additional functionality, training, and reporting
- Advising clients on best practices, process improvements, and system usage
- Troubleshooting complex issues
- Collaborating with KeelCo's technical and development teams when customizations are required
- Efficiently leveraging AI while planning client training sessions
- Preparing systems documentation
- Providing ongoing support to ensure long-term system adoption and performance
- Contributing to internal methodologies
- Participating in presales efforts such as demos and solution scoping
Skills
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, with experience in implementation, configuration, and optimization across key functional areas (finance, operations, inventory, and reporting)
- Background in business process analysis and consulting, including requirements gathering, solution design, and process improvement for ERP and related business applications
- Proficiency in financial and operational concepts, ideally supported by experience as an ERP user or consultant in accounting, supply chain, or related functions
- Ability to collaborate with technical teams on integrations, data migration, and customizations, including familiarity with related Microsoft technologies such as Power Platform and Dynamics CRM
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to lead client workshops, deliver training, and translate complex concepts into clear guidance
- Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a remote consulting environment
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field
- Prior experience in a consulting, VAR, or professional services role, with a strong commitment to customer service and relationship
- Professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft, PMI, CPA, MBA)
