Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Talener is a confidential eCommerce company focused on health-related products. They are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build data pipelines that will support various initiatives and enhance consumer behavior insights.
Responsibilities
- Building the pipelines to unlock it
- Output feeds 4 initiatives: telehealth, their own product line, a personalization project (redefining UX through data), and their core selling platform
- Think consumer behavior - what people buy, when, when they buy again
Skills
- 5+ years data engineering, hands-on building pipelines/infrastructure from scratch
- Strong Python
- Snowflake
- Azure or AWS (Azure preferred, AWS fine if reputable environment)
- Data modeling / warehousing experience
- Can translate technical work for non-technical stakeholders
- BigQuery (used here as a reporting tool, not core infra)
- ECommerce background
- Computer Science Degree
