[Remote] Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) - Independent Contractor (1099)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Fullridge Advisors is a boutique financial advisory firm seeking a Senior Financial Analyst on a 1099 independent contractor basis. The role involves supporting client engagements across FP&A, controllership, supply chain finance, and accrual-basis conversion, with responsibilities including financial modeling, monthly close support, and variance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own recurring client deliverables: monthly close support, management reporting packages, and variance analysis
• Build and maintain financial models and budgets (FP&A), including driver-based forecasts and scenario analysis
• Lead accrual-basis conversion work and prepare GAAP-aligned schedules
• Support supply chain finance analysis: landed cost, freight economics, inventory and SKU-level reporting
• Prepare client-ready analyses with minimal supervision and communicate findings directly to client stakeholders

Skills

• 5+ years in FP&A, controllership, accounting, or financial analysis
• Strong command of GAAP and accrual accounting; comfort with cash-to-accrual conversion
• Advanced Excel/modeling; familiarity with e-commerce/Shopify reporting and inventory data a plus
• A self-directed specialist who diagnoses client needs, manages their own time, and delivers to deadline without hand-holding or day-to-day direction
• Comfortable owning defined deliverables and ramping quickly on unfamiliar client systems. Engagements are scoped to outcomes, and we value contractors who work efficiently and estimate their own time accurately
• Prior experience as a 1099 contractor, subcontractor, or in a similar independent capacity is strongly preferred
• Operating as an established independent contractor; your own business entity is preferred
