Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Metasys Technologies is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant – ServiceNow for an immediate contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will focus on designing, developing, and implementing complex ServiceNow solutions, including integrations, CMDB development, automation, and technical improvements across enterprise environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions with a focus on integrations, CMDB, and automation
- Design and manage ServiceNow integrations with enterprise platforms such as HRIS, ERP, monitoring tools, and cloud platforms
- Build and maintain integrations using ServiceNow Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs, JDBC, JavaScript, PowerShell, and other integration methods
- Perform data mapping, transformation, error handling, and integration troubleshooting
- Configure, deploy, and manage ServiceNow MID Servers, including connectivity, performance, security, high availability, and load balancing
- Design, implement, and maintain CMDB solutions, including CI classes, relationships, data models, and governance processes
- Configure and optimize ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping to support accurate CMDB population
- Develop CMDB health dashboards and processes to improve data accuracy and integrity
- Create and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation, system integrations, data manipulation, and CMDB population activities
- Integrate PowerShell solutions with ServiceNow workflows and orchestration capabilities
- Work with clients and Solution Architects to translate technical requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions
- Lead technical workshops, design sessions, and provide technical mentorship to junior consultants and client teams
- Ensure all solutions meet ServiceNow best practices, security standards, and performance requirements
- Create technical documentation and support successful delivery of ServiceNow engagements
Skills
- Extensive experience as a Senior ServiceNow Technical Consultant supporting enterprise implementations
- Strong expertise with the ServiceNow platform, including Integration Hub, MID Server configuration, CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping
- Experience leading ServiceNow technical engagements from design through implementation
- Hands-on experience developing integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, JDBC, scripting, and integration patterns
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow data modelling, CI classes, relationships, and CMDB governance
- Advanced PowerShell scripting experience, including automation, error handling, and security best practices
- Strong JavaScript experience within the ServiceNow platform
- Experience with ServiceNow workflows, orchestration, and automation solutions
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues involving integrations, MID Servers, and CMDB processes
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT environments and system integrations
- Excellent client-facing communication, technical documentation, and consulting skills
- Ability to provide technical leadership and mentor other team members
