[Remote] Technical Business Analyst – Data & Reporting

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Kaizen Analytix LLC is an analytics products and services company that provides clients with AI/ML solutions and actionable business insights. They are seeking a Technical Business Analyst – Data & Reporting to define reporting strategy, execute reporting cutover, and ensure data integrity during migrations from legacy systems to cloud-based platforms. Responsibilities • Define reporting strategy and execute reporting cutover • Ensure data integrity during migration from legacy systems to cloud-based platforms • Gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements ensuring end-to-end needs are met • Lead working sessions across business, finance, IT and QA teams; bridging non-technical and technical teams • Work independently aligning to project plans and delivery timelines with quality • Dive deep into reports and other artifacts to build documentation to meet client specifications, i.e., Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Change Requirements Documents (CRDs), user stories, etc • Analyze business asks and translate requirements into clearly defined technical solutions and user stories • Validate solutions through UAT and confirm alignment with expected business outcomes Skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements ensuring end‑to‑end needs are met. Demonstrating active listening through clear and concise communication • Strong collaboration and team building skills. Comfortable leading working sessions across business, finance, IT and QA teams; bridging non-technical and technical teams. Managing expectations during high-impact transformation initiatives • Working independently. Ability to work with little supervision aligning to project plans and delivery timelines with quality • Detail orientation. Comfortable diving deep into reports and other artifacts to build documentation to meet client specifications, i.e., Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Change Requirements Documents (CRDs), user stories, etc • Adaptable. Comfortable and successful working in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies • Strong analytic skills. Ability to analyze business asks and translate requirements into clearly defined technical solutions and user stories. Validate solutions through UAT and confirm alignment with expected business outcomes • SQL (writing complex queries, joins, aggregations) • Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, data analysis) • Experience working with databases and data warehouses, data mapping, lineage, and transformation logic • Experience with financial systems (e.g., Elite 3E or similar ERP platforms) • Familiarity with reporting/BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, SSRS) • Experience with data migration and reconciliation processes • Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks • Knowledge of data governance, data quality frameworks, and reporting standards • Ability to work with large, complex datasets across multiple systems • Strong documentation skills with attention to detail Company Overview • Kaizen Analytix is an analytics products and services company.
