Danbren Media is a multi-brand wedding media company producing cinematic wedding films across several states, and they are seeking a skilled video editor to join them on a remote, work-from-home basis. The role involves delivering two types of edits for each wedding, ensuring high-quality and emotionally engaging content.
Responsibilities
- For each wedding assigned to you, you'll deliver two edits from raw footage we provide: A 3–5 minute cinematic highlight film — emotionally paced, music-driven, showcasing the best moments of the day An extended edit up to 45 minutes — a fuller documentary-style cut covering the ceremony, toasts, first dances, and key events in sequence
Skills
- Proven experience editing wedding films or comparable event/documentary work (portfolio required — include highlight reel links with your application)
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
- Strong sense of pacing, music selection, color grading, and audio mixing (clean ceremony/toast audio is non-negotiable)
- Reliable home workstation capable of handling 4K multicam footage
- Ability to meet delivery deadlines and incorporate one round of client revisions per project
